CONDUCT & DISCIPLINARY REGULATIONS FOR SKP LAW COLLEGE STUDENTS

  1. Students are expected to attend all classes without fail. Students should be regular and punctual in attending the classes and all activities connected with the College.
  2. No student is allowed to leave the class room during class hours. Strict silence should be maintained during the class hours, in the Library and College premises.
  3. Students are not supposed to loiter around the campus as well as the corridor during and after the class hours.
  4. Students use canteen only during break hours.
  5. Semesters and class test are part of curriculum and students should be sincere in taking these tests. They should not indulge in any kind of malpractice during examinations or tests.
  6. Students are expected to come to the college in proper Uniform.
  • Boys: Black pant, White full hand shirt tucked in, white socks and Black shoes.
  • Girls: White Salwar, below knee length white Salwar Tops, Black Waist Coat with Collar.

NOTE:

Boys: Wearing designer Shirts, Jeans Pants, Pencil fit, Slim Fit are strictly prohibited inside the campus.

Girls: Wearing designer & netted tops, Pants, Jeans Pants, Leggings, Palazzos, Pencil fit bottoms are strictly prohibited inside the campus.

  1. Every student should wear his/her identity card and produce it on demand.
  2. Students should come only in uniform whenever they come to college.
  3. Students should not bring discredit to the college or to themselves. Students should behave properly inside and outside the campus and they should not indulge in any activity affecting the reputation of the college.
  4. The behaviour of the students, both within and outside the college premises should be decent and befitting to a professional institution.
  5. Students should keep the campus clean. Trash has to be properly disposed in dust bins.
  6. Any lost property found in the premises should be brought to the SKP law college.
  7. Students are expected to take care of the college property and not to cause any damages.
  8. Any student damaging any of the college property shall be required to pay the cost of repair or replacement.
  9. Eve-teasing is strictly prohibited & eve-teasers will be dismissed from the college. According to Tamil Nadu eve-teasing ordinance of 1998 whoever commits or participated or abets in eve-teasing, in or within the premises of any educational institutions, is liable for imprisonment for term which may extend to one year or shall be liable to a fine which may extend to Rs.10000/- or both.
  10. Ragging in any form inside or outside the college campus is banned. Strict action will be taken, if any student is found indulging in ragging activities.
  11. According to guidelines provided by U.G.C., students found guilty of participation or abetment in ragging will be subject to severe punishment ranging from cancellation of admission to a fine up to Rs.25000 and rigorous imprisonment up to 3 years.
  12. Students must abide by the rules and regulations in force as well as other rules by the SKP Law college from time to time.
  13. Students who disobey the rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action.
  14. Stalking by any means will be viewed seriously by the University.
  15. Students coming by two wheelers are instructed to wear helmet. They should possess a valid driving license. The vehicle must be parked in the allotted space only.
  16. Grievances can be reported to the following committee:
  1. Anti-Ragging Committee
  2. Discipline Committee

The concerned faculty members are directed to ensure that, the students are in prescribed dress code and adhere to the above rules strictly within the campus.
